The Tattoo Artist understands that unexpected circumstances can arise and approaches rescheduling and emergencies with care, transparency, and good faith, making reasonable efforts to be flexible where possible.
2.1 Rescheduling Appointments
If an appointment is requested to be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ written notice (email), the Retainer will remain on the Client’s account and can be applied to a future appointment. Providing appropriate notice allows the Tattoo Artist the opportunity to offer the appointment time to another client.
2.2 Transfer of Retainer
If the Client is unable to utilize the Retainer by booking a new appointment, the Retainer may be transferred to another person, provided that the cancelling or rescheduling request has been requested with at least 48 hours notice. If design work has already been prepared, a $25 CAD transfer fee will apply to compensate for time spent preparing the original design. The Client must have been notified by the Tattoo Artist via email that the design had been prepared prior to any transfer request for this fee to be requested.
2.3 Short-Notice Changes & Emergencies
Requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice may still be accommodated at the Tattoo Artist’s discretion. In these cases, the Retainer is not refunded, but may be deferred and kept on the Client’s account for use toward a future appointment.
