Deposits

For Revelstoke Bookings:

A $100 non-refundable deposit is due before design work or bookings are made.

For Convention or Guest Spot Bookings:
50% of your quoted or estimated total is due as a deposit before design work or bookings are made.

All payments made via PayPal will include a 4.5% processing fee.

The deposit is attached to the design and appointment time it is paid towards. If you need to reschedule your appointment, this must be done more than 48 hours in advance for Revelstoke bookings and more than 1 week for my out of town bookings.

It is forfeited if:

you do not show up to your appointment
you cancel your appointment
you reschedule less than 48 hours in advance of your appointment
you change the design completely such that design work must start over

Conduct

All parties in the studio will behave calmly and respectfully at all times. Failure to do so will result in the removal of such parties from the property.

Payment

Payment in full is due at the end of each session. If a tattoo involves more than one session, the deposit is held and applied to the final session.
I accept cash, e-transfers (to tattoos@acousticink.ca), and PayPal via my shop links (online processing fee is applicable)

Be Healthy

Please do not come in if you are unwell. If you arrive and you have a contagious illness, you will be told to leave, your deposit forfeited, and asked to wait until you are healthy to re-book.

Tattooing will not be permitted:

On skin with active outbreaks of acne, psoriasis, eczema, weeping lesions, or infections.
On women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you are a hemophiliac.
On those with HIV, AIDS, or Hepatitis.
On those heavily under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
On those under the age of 18. NO EXCEPTIONS. It is an entirely different insurance package to be able to tattoo minors, which I do not have.

If you fall into any of the above, you will not be permitted to book with Acoustic Ink. By continuing the booking process, you are confirming you do not fall into any of the above. You will forfeit your deposit if you book and are found to fall into any of the above.

Extra caution is used if you:

Have had negative reactions to previous tattoos.
Have a heart condition.
Have epilepsy.
Have diabetes.
Are on blood thinners.
Are on antibiotics.
Are allergic to nickel.
Are on anti-rejection medications.
Have an extremely weakened immune system.

If you fall into any of the above, you will have a conversation with me before proceeding to book in with Acoustic Ink. Failure to do so could result in you forfeiting your deposit when you show up and answer differently in studio.
